The Region is made up of 12 municipalities; Lincoln, West Lincoln Grimsby, St. Catharines, Thorald, Niagara-on-the-lake, Niagara falls, Pelham, Welland, Port Colborne, Wainfleet, and Fort Erie. The unique area has various nature trails and waterfalls that wind throughout the Niagara Escarpment. The Welland Canal runs from one end of the Region to the other, creating a passage for ships between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Niagara is also home to both Brock University and Niagara College, making it the perfect place for families with children to call home.
